Dr. Patricia Schmaltz - program Management, Instruction, Analysis and ISD
Dr. Patricia Schmaltz has been providing professional training services since 1984, under the corporate name Wallacepa Training and Consulting, Inc. From 2005 - 2013 she was the VP/Director of Marketing for a DoD company and while there developed training programs ("Working Groups") for the EOD community. In 2013 she started a new company, The Cottage Consulting Group, an SBA- certified Woman Owned Small Business. We specialize in government and military personnel soft-skills training, business analysis and technical writing services to include proposal development. Our approach is one of an empowering team builder with proven record of communication, marketing, analysis, training and leadership skills.
Dr. Schmaltz holds a BS in Adult Vocational Education, a Masters in Instructional Technology, and a Doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership. She is also an Adjunct Professor for Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, teaching their business and management tract of courses. These courses are taught online and continue her ongoing support of enhancing veteran's educational experiences.
Dr. Schmaltz is also a published writer for PC Magazine, and a writer and editor of technical articles, instructional manuals, marketing content, government proposals and resumes. She also develops course-ware for commercial and non-profit organizations. Patricia holds an Active Security Clearance.
Timothy Colomer, Associate - Instructor, Training Program Manager
Timothy Colomer is a U.S. Navy certified Master Training & Curriculum Development Specialist with 20 years of experience teaching specifically to active duty military, law enforcement, and first responders. Mr. Colomer earned his BS Liberal Arts degree with a concentration in Business Management and History in 2005; in 2013 he earned his Master’s Degree in Safety and Security from The George Washington University. After leaving the Marine Corps in 2007, Mr. Colomer has been employed as a subject matter expert for the JATAC CBRNE mobile training team, the USMC EOD program office, FBI, and DTRA. Mr. Colomer is currently the Global Explosives Safety Officer for Halliburton.
Bonnie Gosney, Associate - Business Development, Writer, Training Program Manager
Bonnie is a retired disabled 25 year Veteran with extensive experience working in disaster support, including responses to earthquakes, fires, hurricanes, riots and other local emergencies. Ten years of business development working with C Staff and Senior leadership within organizations to identify strategic business opportunities with key Federal Government clients such as The Department of State, Justice, Energy, Homeland Security, State Universities, Law Enforcement Agencies, the National Guard Bureau, State National Guards and First Responders Extensive. Additional experience includes supporting Merger and Acquisition teams evaluating training facilities and training contracts. Holds an active Top Secret Clearance.
